On November 2, 2026, Luke presented a workshop on Obtaining Permits Under State and Local Wetlands Laws at the Real Estate Bar Association’s Annual Conference. The program offered an overview of state and local wetlands jurisdiction, and the permitting avenues available to property owners seeking to build near Wetland Resource Areas. The presentation and questions from the audience led to a lively discussion of way to identify issues, and avoid pitfalls, in navigating this complex area of the law.
